Passionate about digital media and its potential to create engaging and impactful stories for diverse audiences
As a graduate student at USC, I am passionate about digital media and its potential to create engaging and impactful stories for diverse audiences. I am pursuing a master's degree in Digital Media with a specialization in production, writing, creating and storytelling for film, TV and emerging platforms. My research and career interests include telling stories of underrepresented populations in digital, film and TV.
I have also developed extensive skills and experience in content creation and management for several brands and organizations. I am currently working as an Executive Producer at No Table Manners, where I conceptualize and produce a weekly talk show featuring interviews with celebrities, creators and artists.
I manage a team of writers, editors, and technicians to deliver high-quality video and audio content, as well as marketing and promotional materials. Previously, I worked as a Social Media Marketing Intern at Music Daily, where I increased the magazine's online engagement and traffic by 25% and 30%, respectively, through creating compelling and timely content for various platforms.
I also have a personal online portfolio with over 135,000 followers across several platforms, where I use humor and my Kenyan upbringing to tell stories that resonate with people around the world.
